21, from England.

I enjoy books, music, vegetarian cooking, feminism, netball and all things velvet (eclectic, right?)

Working on a thesis come October entitled 'The semiotics of female outlawry in Early Stuart Culture' at Lancaster University. Hit me up with any research involving female pirates, versions/re-writes of Maid Marian, witches, amazons and other early modern femmes (if you have niche set of interests like me!) I also have my academic fingers in the proverbial pies of the early modern body, early modern medicine, and the works of Margaret Cavendish.

" Here’s a general rule. When an insult is directed at a woman, consider how it would have sounded directed at a man. If the result is ridiculous, then it’s probably sexist. "

"Why do you want this job?"

Because under capitalism I am forced to sell my labor in order to subsist.
